Israel: Where the Bible Comes to Life One photo. One place. One Bible story.
Updated: 1 day ago

I had the privilege of traveling to Israel in 2018 and again in 2023. I thought some of you might enjoy seeing photos from the places we visited and hearing a little about what we learned along the way.
Whether you’ve never been to Israel but hope to go someday, or you know you’ll probably never have the opportunity, I’d love to take you along.
One of the greatest gifts of visiting Israel is standing in the places where so many events in the Bible took place. Scripture I had read for years suddenly had a landscape.
In Caesarea, we took turns reading Acts 25:13–32. The theme that day was testimony.
I remember thinking about the miracle of each person’s testimony—what you were, how you came to know Christ, and what you are now. Like a fingerprint, no two stories are exactly alike.
Standing there reminded me that the people we read about in Scripture lived in real places, walked real roads, and had stories to tell.
So do we.
Thank God for your story.
