Finding His Will in the Crossroad

I stood at a crossroad

Not sure what to do

Life had thrown me a curveball

But nothing is a curveball for You.

I took a step forward

But then I heard a sound

“Knell my dear child before Him,

That’s where your answer is found.”

I knelt, bowed my head

Not knowing what to say

I had no words, I couldn’t speak

Then the voice began to pray.

The voice groaned up inside me

It told me to be still

“I will ask the Father

For you to find His will.”

I felt a peace envelope me

I asked the voice, “What did He say?”

“Leave everything to Him dear child,

He’s lighting up your way.”

After full surrender and

Delighting in His word

One step at a time was shown to me

Again the gentle voice was heard.

“Look up my child, it’s time to see

All He has prepared.”

It was only then the clouds were moved

“For every detail He had cared.”

When I looked up from the long, dark road,

I could not believe my eyes

The light was bright and the sun was out

I heard the smallest cry.

I couldn’t believe but it was me

that had made the sound

For all I saw was so much more than anything I could have ever found (without Him).

Leave the unknown to God. He will give you more than you can ever imagine.
